The Outdoor Classroom Connector is a small segment connecting the Chestnut Hill West Trail (particularly as it comes down from Allens Lane, where Henry Houston School is located) to the Outdoor Classroom and Cresheim Trail mainstem.

In this one-tenth mile stretch, the trail passes through understory like northern spicebush and past a large katsura, a non-native but non-aggressive tree that yields a cotton candy-like fragrance in the fall. And, as the name suggests, it provides the most direct access to the Outdoor Classroom.
