While this small segment of trail feels a little “IYKYK,” it is especially practical on FOCT volunteer workdays when we meet on northbound Cresheim Valley Drive.

Before construction of the boardwalk and trailhead at Germantown Avenue, the earliest alignment of the Cresheim Trail mainstem routed here, across a wooden footbridge over Cresheim Creek (separated from Cresheim Valley Drive by a guiderail), and along the wide shoulder to Germantown Ave.

Since 2022, FOCT has planted hundreds of trees and shrubs in this area, using the Navajo Connector for fast access to the rest of the trail network.
