Friends of the Cresheim Trail and Mt Airy Trash Team are teaming up for a co-led volunteer day to do both trail work and a cleanup of Cresheim Valley Drive. On Saturday, October 15th, meet us at 9am at the Cresheim Valley Pergola (corner of Germantown Avenue and Cresheim Valley Drive) to check out that landmark and embark on a morning of goodwill and good vibes. One crew will handle trail projects, while the other will head out on foot to pick litter from Cresheim Valley Drive, which will be closed to traffic.
FoCT would like to thank the Philadelphia Streets Department for their assistance in organizing this cleanup. Special note to Weavers Way members: earn your hours while you volunteer!
This all happens Saturday, October 15th, 9am–12pm. Walking and biking (on Cresheim Trail, of course) is encouraged, but if you drive, parking is available along Germantown Avenue in front of New Covenant Campus. Learn more about Mt Airy Trash Team HERE.
Friends of the Cresheim Trail hosts volunteer workdays on the third Saturday of every month. Our next one is November 19th, which will be a fall planting day as part of Love Your Park Week.
