UPDATE: The forecast for Saturday shows a high chance for heavy rain, so after consulting with the Streets Department, we’ve decided to push the cleanup back one week. The new date is SATURDAY, OCTOBER 28TH. We’ll still meet at the pergola at 9am.

Join Friends of the Cresheim Trail for our fall cleanup of Cresheim Valley Drive. With major assistance from the Philadelphia Streets Department, we’ll be doing the full mile between Germantown Avenue and Allens Lane (with closures on feeder streets to CVD including Navajo Street, Lincoln Drive Chestnut Hill side, and Cresheim Road Mt Airy side).
We’ll meet at 9am at the Cresheim Valley Pergola (corner of CVD and Germantown Ave), hit the road shortly after, and wrap up by noon. The hours will count for working members of Weavers Way Co-op — please sign up HERE to make sure you’re counted.
Thanks very much to all our partners on this fun community event: Chestnut Hill Community Association, Mt Airy Trash Team, Mt Airy CDC, West Mt Airy Neighbors, East Mt Airy Neighbors, Weavers Way, and of course Philadelphia Streets Department.
The fall foliage should be in peak form and what better way to enjoy it than with a stroll right down the middle of Cresheim Valley Drive while leaving it looking better than we found it. See you then!
