Join Friends of the Cresheim Trail as we bid farewell to summer and host our first dedicated volunteer workday of the year on the southernmost (and oldest) part of the trail.
It’s happening Saturday, September 20th at 9am. We’ll meet at the “other” classic CT meetup spot, the crossing of Cresheim Trail & Cresheim Road. (MAP.) If you’re driving, plan on parking on westbound (downhill) Cresheim Road. There’s room to pull safely into the weeds on the shoulder.
This outing will give some TLC to the area between the trailhead at Lincoln Drive & Allens Lane, the crossing at Buttercup Cottage, and the Outdoor Classroom. It’ll be all the usual stuff for this time of year: vegetation trimming and sight line clearing, trash pickup, and a little trail work if we’ve got the personnel.
Our next scheduled volunteer workday will be Saturday, October 18th. Stay tuned for those details.
