This year, make a plan to volunteer with Friends of the Cresheim Trail on the third Saturday of each month. We’ll carry out a variety of tasks across the year that make improvements to the trail, the habitat and ecology, and the overall experience. Those tasks include general trail improvements (e.g. armoring retaining walls and improving flow of runoff to prevent erosion); repair to boardwalk planks when it is needed; creating and maintaining mountain bike features; creating a welcoming space at the outdoor classroom; invasive plant removal and vegetation trimming to improve sight lines; and much more.
