Spring is nigh, and impending warmer temps are all the more reason to look forward to our March volunteer workday. That’s happening Saturday, March 15th at 9am.
After last month’s rainout, we’ll turn some extra attention on the quarry area of the Friends Loop. We’ve got our eyes set on some big ecological work there that will do wonders in restoring some beauty to the former rock garden.
We’ll meet at 9am at Chestnut Hill Mermaid Park, the green space at 7645 Germantown Avenue.
NOTE: The Chestnut Hill Farmers Market will be happening, so if you are driving, please do NOT park there. You can park on the 7500–7600 blocks of Germantown, or on the grassy shoulder of northbound Cresheim Valley Drive opposite Navajo Street.
